Welcome, 2026!

It’s early 2026….that means Mardi Gras season with all the festivities, parades and King Cakes. This year, I’m featuring my favorite King Cake recipe and step-by-step guide for making it. It just can’t be beat. I’m also featuring “Grits and Grillades” — a classic recipe of Mardi Gas krewes during brunches and parties. I consider it to be a tasty comfort food; good for any time of the year. Enjoy.
