    1. Hello, Thanks for visiting my blog! I am pleasantly pleased with how the “Lentil Shepherd’s Pie” turned out. I made it several times to get it right, and the key seems to be not overcooking the lentils, adding the specified amount of cooking water. I froze some of these and have been taking them out now and then, rewarming them; they are still tasty. And, as an added plus, these are good for Lent if you are avoiding meat on Fridays as does much of the South Louisiana population. Enjoy!

    1. Yes, you are correct — it needs lamb to be the real thing. As I mentioned in my comments, this is a “twist” on Shepherd’s Pie. It tastes great, give it a try! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
